in the sky before us
coming into view

faster than the speed of light
in a flash, a blink
through the dark, electric night
more quickly than to think -

Planet B revealed at last
a water world with land
where rivers flow as we fly past
AI crewed, unmanned

communicating with the Earth,
though near so far away
from the world which gave us birth
on which we could not stay -

at Proxima Centaurus
on Planet B we land
exploring what's before us
knowing some day man

will follow after we create
habitats sustained
by all we here have come to make
for which we have been trained...
