perihelion on the Earth
closer to the Sun
a new vision, a new birth
has right now begun

as water's falling drip drip drip
and everywhere is wet,
it's perihelion as we slip
through the Void to get

closer to the nearest star
then to slip away
with the Sun to travel far
every single day

moved by forces never seen
gravity and more,
electric currents in a beam
magnetically they soar

all around and everywhere
all of the time as well
as water droplets move through air
each like a living cell

of falling liquid, drip drip drip
bringing life to ground
from the sky they make a trip
to this place we're found -
