everything we hear and smell
taste and see and feel as well
takes place somewhere deep within
electrically, as atoms spin

as cells die off and are reborn
in ecstasy and when forlorn
in states of mind forever changing
sometimes feeling very strange in

time speeding up and slowing down
going round and round and round
waking up to fall asleep
dreaming dreams as they then seep

into our minds, into our thinking
somewhere inside which is linking
everything we hear and smell
taste and see and feel as well

to somewhere unseen deep within
electrically, as atoms spin
as we twirl with Earth through space
in every moment that we face
